Project: ADA Certification of California Building Code
Client: California Division of the State Architect
Responsibilities:
The ADA allows a process whereby state or local governments can have their building codes certified as meeting the minimum standards in ADAAG. M+A staff was hired by the Division of the State Architect to conduct a section-by-section analysis of the State Building Code and develop the changes necessary in order to accomplish certification. Many of the recommended changes have been integrated into the 2007 California Building Code.
