Peter Margen has consulted on hundreds of lawsuits and served as an expert in many landmark accessibility-related cases defining the application and scope of the ADA including; CDR v. Caltrans, Arnold v. United Artists Theaters, Lieber v. Macy's, Barden v. Sacramento, ZumBrunnen v. Mission Ranch, etc.
We are experienced in meeting the rigorous criteria and timelines in litigation situations and understand how to prepare expert declarations and reports in accordance with state and federal court rules.
We are well versed in the federal court ADR process and participate in numerous mediation sessions to effectively resolve accessibility disputes.
We are also hired to monitor compliance with class-action settlement agreements, and often serve as joint experts for both sides in resolving issues.
